Welty proudly served as the reception sponsor for the Ambassador of Golf event, presented by the FirstEnergy Foundation on Saturday, July 8th. This event took place after the UNDERRATED Golf event, featuring 96 talented junior golfers at Firestone Country Club. The Ambassador of Golf event named NBA champion Stephen Curry as the recipient of the 2023 Ambassador of Golf Award. This award benefits the Northern Ohio Golf Charities Foundation – honoring a person who has fostered the ideals of the game on an international level and whose concerns for others extends beyond the golf course. Last year, Curry launched UNDERRATED Golf to offer opportunities and knowledge to those who don’t normally have access to the sport.
