RUPES USA Inc.

Rupes USA is a 100,000 SF industrial warehouse originally divided into three separate office and warehouse spaces. Welty Construction has been brought on by Rupes USA to demo the majority of the existing interior and reconfigure the space to create a large industrial warehouse that will be used to make and test Rupes products.

This project is part of RUPES USA, Inc.’s strategic relocation and expansion to Solon OH, reinforcing the region’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing. The new facility will serve as a centralized operation for manufacturing, distribution, and workforce training, enabling increased production capacity, improved supply chain efficiency, and reduced lead times across North America.

A key component of making this relocation possible was the collaboration between regional economic development partners, including inSITE Advisory Group. Acting on behalf of Rupes, inSITE Advisory Group helped structure and secure a competitive incentives package by working closely with organizations such as JobsOhio, Team NEO, and the City of Solon. Their efforts were instrumental in developing the business case, navigating funding opportunities, and ultimately helping bring the project to Northeast Ohio in a highly competitive, multi-state selection process.

Through this redevelopment, the facility will transition from a multi-tenant layout into a modern, high-functioning industrial space tailored to Rupes’ operational needs, supporting both current production demands and future expansion.
