Airplane Hangar – Cleveland

Welty Building Construction was the lead Construction Manager for the new $25 million design build Hangar for a Confidential Client at Hopkins Airport.

Project consisted of 33,000 sqft Class 2 Hangar with Foam Systems adjacent 17,000 sqft office and maintenance facility. As well as a Class A office space and FAA specifications for all Air-Port Taxi aprons and Hangar Spaces. The new Hangar is the largest construction project to be completed on Cleveland Hopkins Airport property in the last 10 years. Design and programing for this project began in 2020 with construction beginning in July of 2023.

The Airplane Hangar was turned over to Aviation Team on September 24th. The ribbon cutting ceremony, was held inside the new state of the art 35,000 SF Hangar and featured tours of the new office and maintenance spaces.
