Welty Building Company Continues Aggressive Expansion
Adds Three Senior Executives and Secures Construction Projects
December 7, 2015 – Akron, OH – Welty Building Company, proven partners in comprehensive building services and construction management, today announced the addition of three senior executives to further advance its growth trajectory. The company has named Bill Paolillo as Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Jay Griffith as Vice President, Business Integration, and Tia Stathopoulos as General Manager of Facility Services.

Bill Paolillo joins Welty with over 30 years of general management, sales and marketing experience working at companies including Homax, McGraw Hill Companies, Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings, Black & Decker, and Procter & Gamble. Welty believes those who do good, do well. Bill will play a major role in creating positive connections with partners, the team and the community. Bill will also apply his extensive experience to help the sales team implement consistent sales processes to win more deals, strategically manage accounts and realize their revenue potential.
Jay Griffith comes to Welty from ExxonMobil/AES with over forty years of general business management experience. In this position, he will play an instrumental role in the overall company growth strategy and lead the integration of company acquisitions into “the Welty way.”
Tia Stathopoulos will be responsible for directing the facility services team that manages assets nationwide, in addition to portfolio management, project development, strategic planning, budgeting, financing, and value creation. Tia brings more than 15 years of real estate, construction, and property management experience which have included real estate functions with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, The UPS Stores as well as a number of nonprofit organizations.
