Summa Health Center at Green

Keeping complex projects running smoothly

Summa Health System and the Akron Area YMCA chose Welty Building Company Ltd. to construct the new Summa Health Center Campus in Green because of our unique ability to simultaneously coordinate many complex issues. The campus includes a two-story, 26,000 SF medical office building that had to be completed in less then six months, an 80,000 SF diagnostics center and full-service YMCA. The project was completed on a fast-track Design/Build plan that satisfied the architects and owners, and included more than 100 separate subcontractor bid packages. The project was finished on time and on budget.
