A Hub of Activity
The Gateway Facility serves as the nerve center of SARTA, housing administrative staff and bus storage garages. The facility was in need of a major renovation and expansion due to overcrowding and growth. As Construction Manager for the project, Welty oversaw the rehabilitation of administrative spaces, upgrade to the bus storage area and an expansion of the bus garage.
