Historic Renovation for Adaptive Reuse

Welty Building Company provided program management services and construction management services to the Akron Legacy Real Estate Development LLC for the adaptive reuse and historic preservation of the former 1929 Main Post Office and one of Akron’s most historic buildings. The new building contains offices for the tenant which is Summa Health System.

The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and its reconstruction was financed in part with historic tax credits.
