Keeping an eye on cost – and historical preservation

Renovating three floors of a landmark building for use by Summit County government workers required an attention to detail – and the bottom line – that Welty could provide.  To maximize the owner’s budget, Welty utilized elements of Integrated Project Delivery and Lean Construction to reduce the overall cost of the project by five percent.  Welty also combined old and new seamlessly – installing energy efficient windows that replicated the originals and building in state-of-the-art efficiencies, like a zoned HVAC system that intelligently adjusts to outside variables.
