Value Engineering Over 10 Percent in Savings While Earning LEED Certification

When Cuyahoga Community College opened its first campus outside of Cuyahoga County they called on Welty to handle the extensive construction management the project required. Welty oversaw the intricate design specifications needed to achieve LEED certification while also keeping the fast-tracked project on time and on budget, even value engineering over 10 percent of the cost out. During construction, they also developed safety protocols for the jobsite, which contained a fully operational high school, library and recreational center, ensuring student and staff safety at those facilities.
