New Flats Restaurant Brings An Island Feel to the Flats East Bank

Coastal Taco is a casual, Latin and Caribbean-themed restaurant located on the East Bank of the Flats in downtown Cleveland. Welty was selected to be the Construction Manager for this addition to the Flats. The restaurant, which seats 175 diners, is 4,500 square feet and includes an expansive terrace which can seat an additional 280 guests. The terrace is cantilevered out over the Cuyahoga River and includes plenty of outdoor seating, an inside-outside bar, fire pits, tiki torches, and breathtaking views of the Cuyahoga River and the city.
