City of Wadsworth – Outdoor Pool

New Outdoor Pool Facility

Welty Building Company was the Construction Manager for the City of Wadsworth’s new outdoor pool. The new pool facility includes an equipment building; a pavilion featuring locker rooms, a check-in port, and offices; a recreational pool; and a lap pool. The recreational pool features numerous interactive water play features, including a whale slide. The lap pool features a diving board, drop slide, wet deck and lap lanes.

The outdoor pool is located adjacent to the Wadsworth YMCA and the new Wadsworth High School. Akron Area YMCA is the Pool Operator for this facility.
