Leanna Gensler

As CHRO, Leanna drives people-centric initiatives, strengthens employee engagement, and elevates workplace excellence. She is passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive cultures, and aligning HR practices with business goals.

Leanna is a seasoned human resources executive and Certified Professional (PHR) with more than 15 years of experience advancing talent strategy and organizational culture. Much of Leanna’s previous experience was focused on high-growth companies, requiring a need to adapt culture and people strategy to fit growing needs.

She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

What inspires you?

My family is my greatest source of inspiration. My husband and our boys ground me, challenge me to lead with intention, and motivate me to the best version of myself

What are the things that you depend on or that just make life easier?

Calendars! Digital, print, it doesn’t matter. My life personally and professionally is busy so having an up-to-date calendar keeps me in order.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Charleston, SC. I’ve been fortunate to go to some amazing places but Charleston, SC holds a special place in mine and my husband’s hearts. Good food, good weather, and just an all-around beautiful spot to visit!

What do you find most rewarding/satisfying about your job?

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing people grow. Whether it’s the moment a concept finally clicks or watching someone earn a well-deserved promotion, those wins are exciting and never get old.
