Mitch Kraly

Mitch has been with Welty Energy for more than nine years with experience as a Construction Site Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Senior Project Manager and currently as Operations Portfolio Manager. His experience in high voltage construction includes transmission line construction, substation construction and fiber networks. Mitch’s experience as a construction site coordinator has allowed him to better understand the construction processes that go into planning various types of projects.

Why you love what you do?

A new challenge everyday.

What problems do you enjoy solving?

Constructability and outage sequencing.

What are the things that you depend on or that just make life easier?

Family.

Your fondest memory of being in the industry?

Working on Brookside-Homer Transmission Line rebuild, I learned a ton from Jeff Pottebaum working on that project. The ability to be on site everyday allowed me to dive deep into how transmission lines are built and the challenges that come with the industry.

How you give back to the community and industry ?

I try to pass along the knowledge that I’ve gained from others to those just getting into the industry.
