Magical Theatre Company

Welty Select serves as the General Contractor for the ongoing renovation of the historic Venice Hall building, originally constructed in 1917. The project is transforming the vacant first and second floors into functional office space for the Magical Theatre, providing administrative and operational areas to support the organization’s continued growth and programming.

The scope of work includes extensive interior renovations that modernize the space while preserving the character of the historic structure. A new opening is being created in the separation wall to connect the theatre directly to the renovated first-floor area, expanding opportunities for rehearsals, fundraising events, and community engagement activities.

Upon completion, the project will revitalize previously underutilized space, creating a seamless connection between the theatre and its support areas while enhancing the functionality of the facility. The renovation supports the Magical Theatre’s mission and contributes to the preservation and continued use of a valued historic community asset.
