    Q&A session with: Bruce Wilson

Why you love what you do?

It gives me great satisfaction to pass on all the lessons I’ve learned in our business to the next generation. These lessons cannot be learned in any school or read in any book.

What problems do you enjoy solving?

    The ones that never happen.

What is your fondest industry memory?

When I was very young, my father was a builder. I walked into his office, and he had a plaque on his wall that read: “I had no shoes and I complained, until I met a man who had no feet.” That has stuck with me my whole life.

What is the proudest moment of your career?

It was actually while volunteering to help build an ADA bathroom for a wounded warrior – the gentleman had no legs. Seeing how happy he was that he could help himself again is a feeling I’ll never forget.
