The Akron Children’s Hospital Kay Jewelers Pavilion received LEED Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council, exceeding the original goal of LEED Silver Certification. Additionally, the building achieved an energy efficiency goal with a 38% energy consumption reduction compared to the national average.
