Steve Thompson 

Steve Thompson brings more than 42 years of construction industry experience, with an extraordinary portfolio that spans 21 U.S. states, 4 countries, and even a remote island. Beginning his career as a carpenter in 1980 with the Local Carpenters Union, Steve’s skill and drive quickly propelled him to Assistant Superintendent by 1983. Over the next decade, he completed five major projects for Disney, earning a promotion to Superintendent and building a reputation for delivering exceptional results on complex, high-profile assignments. 

Throughout his career, Steve has held key roles in Construction Operations, Project Executive leadership, Preconstruction Planning and Management, and Project Management. His expertise includes trend analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, and effective issue resolution. With more than $2 billion in completed construction, Steve’s experience covers a broad range of civil and commercial market sectors. His portfolio includes over $500 million in GSA/government projects, more than $500 million in detention facilities, and another $500 million in hospitality projects—alongside significant work in healthcare, education, mixed-use, and retail developments. 

Steve has overseen the construction of 16 large corporate office buildings, 12 of which were federal facilities, and is highly experienced in managing highly secure and confidential projects. His deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and hands-on leadership style have earned him the trust of clients, stakeholders, and teams.
