Welty served as Construction Manager for this new structure, located near the site of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s new global headquarters. The 5-story hotel includes 139 guest rooms, three suites, a conference center with a private boardroom, a pool and restaurant with bar. The $18 million project was the first hotel to be built in Akron since 1980 and will serve the business needs of Goodyear as well as greater Akron.
