The Project
<p>The Gateway Facility serves as the central operating nerve of SARTA and is located within the Canton City limits. Welty Building Company was hired as construction manager for this project. The facility was in need of a renovation due to over crowding and the need of a well-coordinated programmed renovation. The scope of the project included rehabilitation of administrative spaces, upgrade to the bus storage facility, new bus equipment and an expansion of the bus garage facility.</p><p>Renovation Square Footage: 23,344 square feet</p><p>Addition Square Footage: 5,096 square feet</p><p>Total Project Square Footage: 28,440 square feet</p>
